Icon Poster

For this project, I created a system of icons and used them to design a poster depicting a weekend of camping in the woods. I wanted to create a set of icons that felt cohesive while still allowing each one to represent something unique. I used simple vector shapes, dotted patterns, and outlines to establish a consistent visual style throughout the system. I also chose a limited but varied color palette to give the icons some personality while keeping the overall design unified. 

Once the icon system was complete, I arranged the illustrations into a poster that visually tells the story of a camping trip. This project was part of a collaboration between my class in the United States and a class of students in South Korea. The finished posters were featured in an exhibition showcasing the work created through this international collaboration.
